You can install the latest version of Zrythm for your distro or operating system using an installer from the Download page on our website.

This is the easiest and recommended way to install the latest version for most users, and we provide support for it.

The installers also include bundled plugins.

Manual Installation

If you are an advanced user, you can also build Zrythm from source, either using a source distribution tarball or git.

See INSTALL.rst in the source distribution for installation instructions.

The installer supports the following distributions (and derivatives):

  • Arch Linux - x86_64

  • Debian Stable & Testing - amd64

  • Latest 2 Fedora releases - x86_64

  • Ubuntu latest LTS & non-LTS - amd64

We also offer an AppImage build, which is currently experimental. If you find any issues, please report them.

Distribution Package

If your distribution provides a Zrythm package you can also install it from there.

Windows & MacOS

The installers above fully support Windows 64bit and MacOS.

You can install the Zrythm port from the official repositories.
